What are the Mountain Sage Townhomes?:

Mountain Sage Townhomes consist of a Planned Unit Development within the Core of Carbondale, Colorado. After gaining approvals from the town of Carbondale in 2007, the original developers of the Mountain Sage Townhomes built the first 14 of the 26 approved units and then lost the development in Foreclosure.

Erik Cavarra is the Managing Broker of Alpine Property Real Estate of Aspen & Snowmass Village. Cavarra originally listed the Mountain Sage Development for First Citizens Bank in May of 2012. The Development consisted of (8) of the 14 newly built townhomes (7 finished and 1 partially finished), along with 12 parcel lots with the ability to build 12 new townhomes. Construction has just finalized on all 12 NEW Residences. 4 of the 12 to be built townhomes were designed for Affordable Housing.

A Denver, Colorado based Developer, purchased the Development on 12/31/12.

Erik Cavarra Listed the (8) Two- & Three Bedroom units in early January of 13, and finalized all (8) Sales in March 13. Sold Prices Ranged from $310k – $355k.

Pricing for Phase II ranged from $415k – $472,150k.  8 of the 8 Free Market Units are recently Sold.   Construction is complete and the Units are move-in ready.   The E Building is our Affordable Housing building and complies with price ranges per Garfield County for Categories 1 – 4.  Units E4, E3, E2, & E1 are Sold.

When will Phase II of the Development be built?

Phase II is in the process of finalizing Construction Plans and we are scheduled to finalize Construction around Mid-June of 2014.
